The family of award winning Newnan photographer Paul Conlan has generously donated the only signed image of Paul’s work: “Go Cougars!” (Only two prints of this image exist and the attached is the only signed print.) The print will be auctioned off at the closing reception for the Simple Pleasures Photography Competition on Tuesday, October 29th from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Centre for Performing & Visual Arts of Coweta County located on Lower Fayetteville Road. The opening bid for the print is $200 (which is what Mr. Conlan charged for his unframed prints during his lifetime). “Go Cougars!” has been beautifully framed through the generosity of Fine Lines Art & Framing, www.finelinesartandframing.com . All proceeds from the winner of the auction go toward the Paul Conlan Memorial Scholarship Fund for Coweta County high school students administered by the Coweta Community Foundation.
