Officially Fall.....

We promise she's not a witch!!!  But she sure had fun on Halloween while handing out candy to the little ones that came by from 10am until noon.  And the candy was all gone right at 12 noon.

But now?  Yes, it is November and fall is in the air.  If you haven't been in for a while, you'll notice that we've moved the art around and have some new works on the walls... the crisp morning air has awakened the artists' creative energy and we love the beautiful artwork which surrounds us here at Fine Lines Art & Framing!!!

There is still room for those of you who want to try your own artistic talents.  We have our Tuesday afternoon class from 2-5pm and the fee includes all supplies (paint, brushes, canvas, etc.).  You can take one class to try it out or simply come each week.  Classes include lessons in oil, acrylic, watercolor & pastels.  We are considering a Monday evening class from 6 to 8pm so let us know if this might work for you.

Most importantly of all:  Thanksgiving is around the corner and as a way to say "Thank You" to all our wonderful and loyal clients, we are offering you a 15% discount off of your custom framing from November 21st through November 30th.  Fine Lines Art & Framing Gallery is so blessed to have you and we are thrilled to 'give thanks' to and for you all.

Come see us soon....

Stroll through downtown businesses sampling a choice selection and variety of beers, served w/ hors d'oeuvres. Tickets are required. $20 early bird tickets can be purchased at Fine Lines and other select merchants. $25 at the event.

Fine Lines Gallery is offering Moretti, an Italian beer. Also try our pepperoni pinwheels. Come by and join the fun!

We look forward to seeing you here!

150 years of existenceL'uomo dell’etichetta
Today Birra Moretti is exported to over 40 countries around the world, including the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada and Japan and has won important international awards. In 2006 Birra Moretti was the only Italian brand to have been awarded both gold and silver medals at the World Beer Cup, the most important international competition in the industry. At the same time, it was awarded 5 other medals at the Australian International Beer Awards – a high level competition in the southern hemisphere – something which confirms the high quality of Birra Moretti beer.
For the Birra Moretti group, these awards are certainly triumphs, especially as it is the only Italian beer to have come out on top in categories that are usually dominated by German or American beers.

New Artist & New Painting Classes now at Fine Lines!!!

Hi!  As a new artist with Fine Lines, I wanted to introduce myself and tell you a little about my passion for painting and my desire to share my knowledge with others.

My works are considered impressionist and/or representational… my styles are varied depending on the subject and how I ‘see’ it presented. Some works are very loose and painted in palette knife or in a pointillist style while others might contain fine brushwork and loads of detail within! It just depends on what the subject feels like in my soul. Also, I love color and drama so I will usually try to have a lot of contrast in my pieces. Over the years I have developed a technique in which my oils & my acrylic pieces are indistinguishable.

Above: Children's Garden 8x10 Oil on Canvas

As to sharing my knowledge, I am currently writing a book entitled (I think!) “The Beauty of Oils with the Ease of Acrylics”. I have been teaching painting classes for years and so enjoy seeing my students become lovers of art as they begin to learn color theory, composition, methodologies, etc. So not only do I get to enjoy the art of painting itself but I get to enjoy sharing my knowledge with others!!!
My classes are held at Fine Lines Art & Framing Gallery on Tuesday afternoons from 2 until 5pm each week. The cost of the class ($35 per session) includes supplies and the following mediums: oils, acrylics, watercolors & pastels. There is a limit to the classes so please contact Cecelia at 770-683-3463 to sign up! Or if you have any questions, feel free to call me at 650-743-9493 or visit my website at http://www.kbosell.com/.

Thank you for your interest in art and in my work!

Main Street Newnan's Annual Wine Tasting Event in Historic Downtown 5-9pm Friday June 17th
call Fine Lines for details 770-683-3463 Pre-sale tickets available here $20 each
Fine Lines is serving a Chardonnay from the Main Street Winery
The majority of the grapes in the Main Street Winery Chardonnay come from Santa Barbara County, 82% to be exact. The other 18% of the grapes come from Monterey County, north of Santa Barbara County and just south of San Francisco, CA.

This wine is a beautiful golden color.  The aromas are somewhat restrained but include lemon, toasted oak, apple and hay.  The flavors start with a yellow delicious apple characteristic and evolve into peach and citrus.  A bit of oak flavor comes in on the finish, but it’s not too strong. The mouth feel is rich and very creamy.

We have paired our wine with Macadamia Nut cookies from
Sweety's Cookie Jar
a local Newnan business
check out the website

Hope to see you here!!!
